Margaret Trimmell

Margaret Trimmell age 88 of Neodesha, Kansas died Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home in Neodesha, Kansas with the Pastor Dave Cheshier officiating. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Margaret Trimmell was born November 12, 1923 in Waldron, Kansas to Roy F. and Lura Lee Grace Lynam. Margaret graduated from the Toronto High School in Toronto, Kansas in 1941. On August 20, 1941 Margaret married Bill Trimmell in Independence, Kansas. Margaret worked at the Independence Air Base and later as a seamstress for the Toggery and the Haberdashery in Neodesha, Kansas. She was a member of the Christian Church, Hospital Auxillary and was a volunteer worker at the Nursing Home. Margaret was a loving Mother, Wife and Grandmother Survivors include four children Sherry Merryman of Neodesha, Kansas, Diana Holmquist of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, Joe Trimmell of Wichita, Kansas and Max Trimmell of Neodesha, Kansas sister Mary Hecht of Versailles, Ohio five grandchildren Wendy Riley, Angela Passantino, Tyson Holmquist, Joshua Trimmell and Michael Trimmell two great grandchildren Evanne Riley and Lauren Passantino. Margaret was preceded in death in addition to her husband Bill, by two brothers Owen Lynam and Don Lynam, one sister Martha Rineke and soninlaw Mike Holmquist. The family has suggested memorials to the Wilson Medical Center and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home in Neodesha, Kansas.
