Mandy Dixon

Mandy S. Dixon, age 29, of Caney, Kansas passed away, Monday January 16, 2012 at her home in Caney, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 20. 2012 at the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro, Kansas with the Evangelist David Bycroft officiating. Burial will follow in the Fawn Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Mandy was born April 25, 1982 to Barry and Gina Holley. She grew up in Caney, Kansas and graduated from the Caney High School in 2003. Survivors include her mother Gina Dixon of Caney, Kansas one sister Brandy Dixon of Caney, Kansas one brother Barry Allan Dixon II and wife Savanna of Havana, Kansas Maternal grandparents Dale Jean Holley of Caney, Kansas paternal grandmother Ethel Scovel of Tyro, Kansas four uncles Ron Holley and wife Kim of Tyro, Kansas, Randy Holley of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Terry Dixon and wife Tina of Afton, Oklahoma, and Craig Scovel and wife Angie of Texas three aunts Kim Brewer and husband David of Pittsburg, Kansas, Toni Timmerman and husband Gary of Tyro, Kansas and Christy Stroman and husband Bob of Norman, Oklahoma nieces and nephews Bladen Dixon, Eli Dixon, Anna Marie Dixon, Baylee Hollandsworth and Jackson Wright. She was preceded in death by her father Barry Dixon, and grandfather Jack Scovel.
