Louis South

Louis Glenn South 61, of Wichita, Kansas passed away at Wesley Medical Center on Monday, January 18, 2021. A Celebration of Louis’ Life will be held at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas on Saturday, January 30th at 11:00 am.

Louis was born on September 7, 1959 to Louis and Lois South in Wichita, Kansas. Louis worked for the Pipefitters Union 441 for 42 years. He was united to Tracie in August of 1981. With this union they welcomed 2 children. Louis loved his work, friends, and family. He spent his spare time working on various projects, watching Syfy movies and reminiscing with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lois South, and brother, Ricky South.

He is survived by his wife Tracie, daughter, Amy and husband Travis Shimon, son, Cary and wife Aubrey South, and eight grandchildren, Mia, Michael, Alex, Travis, Morgan, Lily, Bella, and Tobias. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
