Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend Louis Allen Bredehoft entered his heavenly home on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Andover, Kansas.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Potts Chapel with Pastor Vega officiating. Burial will follow at the Harrisonville Cemetery in rural Independence, Kansas.
Visitation Hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Potts Funeral Home. The Bredehoft family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church, Montgomery County Rural Fire Department and Montgomery County 4-H Shooting Sports.

Louis was born September 30, 1935 in Independence, Kansas. The son of Alvin and Freida (Delvanthal) Bredehoft of rural Independence, Kansas.
Louis lived in the Independence, Kansas area all of his life. He was a farmer and rancher and he worked for Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) for 37 years as a construction engineer.
Louis was an active member of the Lutheran Church in Independence, Kansas and served faithfully for many years.
Louis was united in marriage to Virginia Henderson on July 17, 1956 in Independence, Kansas and she survives at the home.
He is also survived by a son David Allen (Diana) Bredehoft and a daughter Nancy Gale (David) Evans all of Independence, Kansas. A sister, Mary (Bill) Taylor of Independence, Kansas. Surviving grandchildren are: Jennifer (Chris) Haley of Lexington, Oklahoma; Joshua (Misty) Obermier of Talala, Oklahoma; Kattie Bredehoft of Winona, Minnesota; Megan Evans of Independence, Kansas; and Gabe Evans of Manhattan, Kansas, great-grandsons: Cameron, Wyatt, Damien, Jerrod and Wade.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Ginger and great grandson Jacob.
