Louella Ann Robertson,78, of Tyro died Thursday December 29, 2011, at her home. A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday January 4, 2012 at the Tyro Christian Church with Luke Bycroft officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery In Caney, Kansas under the direction of Potts Chapel, Caney. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 9:00am to 8:00pm with family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. at the Potts Chapel, Caney. The family has suggested memorials to the Tyro Christian Church, Tyro, Kansas or to the Harry Hynes Hospice and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel or the Church. Louella was born November 1, 1933 in Pawnee, Oklahoma the daughter of Louis and Delores Roubideaux Burnett. She grew up in Pawhuska, Oklahoma attending the Catholic School in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. On October 22, 1949 Louella Burnett was united in Marriage to Monroe Robertson in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and they made their home in Tyro, Kansas and Monroe survives at the home. Louella worked for the Phillips Petroleum In Bartlesville, Oklahoma for 15 years she was also Vice President and owner of Arrow Valve Company as well as owner of Louellas Fabric and Grifts both in Caney. She was a member of the OTOE Missouria Tribe. Louella also was an horonered Elder for the Caney Valley Indian Pow Wow in 2007 Survivors includes her husband Monroe of the home, three sons Darrell W. Robertson, Caney,Kansas Curtis A. Robertson, Tyro,Kansas, Richard K. Robertson, Miami, Oklahoma, two daughters Sherry Stevens and Cathey Alani of Caney, Kansas, two brothers Louis Burnett, Oklahoma, Barney Burnett of Caney, Kansas. 13 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren
