Lorrene Price

Lorrene Price, age 85, of Overland Park, Kansas, formally of Caney, Kansas died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at her home in Overland Park, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Sunnyside Cemetery with the Reverend Steve Butler officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Lorrene was born October 5, 1926 in Copan, Oklahoma to John McCroskey and Jenny Nally McCrosky. She grew up in Caney, attending Caney Schools, graduating from Caney High School. On September 1, 1945 Lorrene married Dale Eugene Price, and the couple made their home in Overland Park, Kansas and he preceded her in death. Lorrene worked as a bookkeeper for ABC Bandag, and also as an accountant for Johnson Powell. Lorrene had two daughters, Nancy Morris and husband Kenny of Overland Park, and Patricia Maxwell, Overland Park, Kansas three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
