Loren Kelly

Loren E. Kelly, 73, of Stillwater, Oklahoma formally of Caney, Kansas, died Monday January 3, 2011, at the St. Anthony Hospital, in Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma. Graveside Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 am, Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Havana Cemetery in Havana, Kansas with the Reverend Jim Anderson , officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be at the Havana Cemetery under the direction Of Potts Chapel, Caney. Visitation will be Thursday from Noon to 7 pm at The Potts Chapel Caney with family receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm. Loren was born December 2, 1937 in Caney, Kansas the son of Harold E. and Marie Freeman Kelly. He attended the Caney School System from which he graduated he then attended the Oklahoma State University where he attained a Masters Degree in Science. He served in the United States Air Force and was honorable discharged with the rank for Chief Master Sergeant. On April 23, 1960 he was united in marriage to Margaret Kelly in Conway, South Carolina she survives at the home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Loren was an auctioneer and worked in Realestate with Starling and Miller. Survivors are his wife Margaret Kelly of Stillwater, Oklahoma, one son Gene Kelly, of Grove, Oklahoma, two daughters Miranda Kelly of Spring, Texas, Mandy Elliott of Ottawa, Kansas, two sisters Connie Buster of Caney, Kansas and Kerry Mc Intosh of Ramona, Oklahoma. Two brothers, Bill Kelly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and John Kelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma
