Lora Fleek

Lora M. Fleek , 40, of Independence, formally from Indiana, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at her home. A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Neodesha Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas with the Reverend Dave Cheshiel Officiating. Burial will follow the service under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Independence, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Lora M. Fleek fund and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel, Independence. Lora was born April 12, 1973 in Washington, Indiana the daughter of Eugene and Mary Mitchell Wilson. She grew up in Washington, Indiana attending Washington School System. She later received her GED and attended the Ivy Technical Nursing program in Indiana where she received a Bachelors Degree. Lora worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Waters Nursing Home in Indiana. Survivors include her father, Eugene Wilson of Indiana her mother, Mary Mitchell of Howard, Kansas two sons, Nick Bennett of Cherryvale, Kansas and Dallas Parker of Howard, Kansas one daughter, Sabrina Parker of Independence, Kansas two brothers, James Mitchell of Illinois and Aaron Wilson of Indiana three sisters, Gina Kiel , Katrina Wilson and Yvonne Wilson all of Indiana.
