Lisa Hall

Lisa Marie Hall, 47, of Independence passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at her home. Lisa was born on May 24, 1966 in Cherryvale, Kansas, the daughter of Ervin and Lucille Smith Hambleton. She grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1984. Lisa was united in marriage to Jimmy Hall and the couple made their home in Independence, Kansas. Lisa was an incredible person who loved spending time with her family and friends and touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. She loved riding motorcycles with her husband, and taking rides with friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Survivors include her husband Jimmy Hall of the home, her son Joe Samantha Hall of Westwood, Kansas and her sister Louise Les Houston of Farmington, Missouri. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents. Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Potts Chapel in Independence. Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday May 12, 2014 with the family receiving friends from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the Potts Chapel. The family has suggested memorials to the National Alliance on Metal Illness Southeast Kansas, P.O. Box 1845, Pittsburg, Kansas 66762.
