Linda Jensen

Linda Jo Jensen, 62, of Coffeyville, Kansas lost her battle with cancer and passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel of Independence and no services are planned at this time.
Linda was born on April 19, 1951 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Kresten and Marilyn Middleton Jensen Jr. She graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville, Kansas. She attended two years at Tucson University and later received her masters from Pittsburg University. Linda moved to Santa Fe New Mexico in 1991. There, she was an active volunteer for the St. Bedes Episcopal Church and the local food bank. She moved back to Independence in 2011, where she continued to be active in church.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Kresten Jensen III, Independence, Kansas a nephew, Michael Jensen and wife Amanda, San Antonio Texas a niece, Stephanie Douglas and husband Henry, Eufaula Alabama four grandniece and nephews, Nathaniel, Samuel, Garrett and Kirsten.
