Linda Forrester

Linda D. Forrester, 68, Cherryvale, Kansas passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Freeman Heath Systems West in Joplin, Missouri. Friends may register on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Potts Chapel of Cherryvale. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Grandview Cemetery in Rural Neodesha, Kansas.
Linda was born August 24, 1947 in Neodesha, Kansas to John H, and Martha F. (Barnes) Adams. She attended Neodesha, Kansas Schools. On February 8, 1969 Linda married Jack Forrester in Neodesha, Kansas the couple made their home in Owensville, Missouri until Mr. Forrester's retirement in 1986 the couple moved to rural Cherryvale, Kansas. Linda enjoyed Card Games, Reading and Crocheting.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, three brothers, John William Adams, Larry Arthur Adams, Melvin Henry Adams, and five sisters, Shirley Delores Lindsey, Barbara Sue Soniour, Shirley Jane Adams, Marilyn Jean Shearheart, and Allison Dillon.
Survivors include one son Jon and wife Mindy Forrester, Cherryvale, Kansas, two daughters, Martha Forrester, Cherryvale, Kansas, Leama and husband Sam Shufeldt, Cherryvale, Kansas three sisters , Carolyn Joan Scott, Cherryvale, Kansas, Karen Lynn Bilyue, Cherryvale, Kansas, Dorothy Francis Hare, Neodesha, Kansas, and eight grandchildren, Dirk and Abby; Tonya, Jeffrey, Michael and Aaron; Damien and Andrew.
