Linda Elaine Bogle, 69, of Caney, Kansas died Sunday, January 12, 2014, at her daughters home near rural Caney.
Linda Elaine LaCrone was born May 6, 1944 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Paul E. LaCrone and Mildred G. Yocom LaCrone.
Linda attended schools in Wichita, KS, and Bartlesville, OK. She married Paul Bogle June 9th, 1971. They made their home in Havana and Caney, KS. They later divorced. She was employed by Emerson Electric, Independence, KS, and Floyds Market in Caney, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Caney. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and bingo.
Survivors include her son, Paul Bogle II and wife Tammy of South Coffeyville, OK, daughter Alyson Kastler and husband, Bryan, of rural Caney grandchildren Nicole Bogle,Joshua Caswell II, Koby Aitken, Laticia Bogle, Christian Bogle, Elijah Bogle,Brycen Kastler, and Bentley Kastler and her sister Mary Alice Morgan of Caney. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, and brother Richard.
Visitation will be held Friday, noon to 8:00PM at the Potts Chapel in Caney, with family receiving visitors 6:00 to 8:00PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 18th, at 2:00 PM at the Assembly of God Church in Caney with Pastor Mike Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Havana, KS, Cemetery, under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Caney. The family has suggested memorials to the Harry Hynes Hospice, the Assembly of God Church, Caney, or to the organization of your choice, in memory of Linda. Contributions can be left at Potts Chapel of Caney.
