Lavera Yeubanks

LaVera Louise Yeubanks, age 75, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale.

The family has suggested memorials to the Assembly of God Church and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas.

LaVera Louise Yeubanks was born December 16, 1938 in Ellsworth, Kansas to Leo William and Pearl Cottman Dressler. She grew up in Ellsworth, Kansas and graduated from the Lyons High School. LaVera worked in various retail jobs and was a homemaker.

On May 12, 1980 LaVera married Truel Yeubanks in Sterling, Kansas where the couple made their home until moving to Cherryvale, Kansas. Truel preceded her in death in 1999. LaVera was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra Clark and husband David of Upper Marlboro, Maryland one sister Doris Hinkle of Medford, Oregon two grandchildren Jennifer Gibson of Mechanicsburg, PA and Tyler Clark of Brunswick, Georgia and five great grandchildren.
