Laura Gregg

Laura Gregg, 91, of Caney, KS, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Kansas Medical Center, Andover, KS.
Laura Luela Ward was born April 14, 1923 at Sedan, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Grace Smallwood Ward. She attended school in Peru, graduating High School in 1941. She married Howard Coltharp in 1940, and he died in 1971. She married Joe Gregg in 1973, and he died in 1998. Laura was a homemaker.
Laura is survived by sons: Larry Coltharp, Leon, KS, Steve Coltharp, Independence, KS, Lee Coltharp, Caney, and Mike Coltharp, Independence, KS daughter, Susan Thomison, Caney two stepsons, Chuck Gregg, Oklahoma, and Gary Gregg, Missouri sister Mariam Wagner of Colorado 19 grand children, many great grandchildren, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and a son, Phillip Coltharp.
Graveside Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 10:30am at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Caney, with David Bycroft, Evangelist, Tyro Christian Church, officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel of Caney.
