Larry Gulick

Larry Eugene Gulick, age 56, of Caney, Kansas, died August 5, 2012 at his home. Graveside Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 10, 2012, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, under the direction of Potts Chapel of Caney. Larry was born August 6, 1955 in Caney to Calvin and Lois Seibel Gulick. Larry attended schools in Caney. On September 22, 1990, Larry married Penny Deal in Caney, and the couple made their home there. Before becoming disabled in 2001, Larry was employed by Aptus and by Home Lumber Company, both in Coffeyville. Larry loved Elvis and the Kansas City Chiefs. Survivors include wife, Penny, of the home his mother Lois of Caney two daughters, Michelle Scott and Husband Paul of Wichita, Kansas, and Kimberly Gulick and significant other, Caleb Hopkins, Ottawa, Kansas four grandchildren, Zeth, Haylee, Logan and Lizzy Scott brother Mike Gulick and wife Deb of Niotaze, Kansas nephews Brady Gulick and wife Katrina, Bart Gulick and wife Cara, all of Caney niece Baylie West and husband Kolt of Caney great nephews and nieces Brycen, Kamrey, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Marayah, and Nadaley Gulick, and Breley West all of Caney brothers Harold Gulick of Caney, and Gary Gulick and wife Janice, of Texas, and Rocky Gulick of Arizona sisters Mary Mishler and husband Art, and Ruth Shafer and husband Roy, all from Caney and many other nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father Calvin in May 2012. The family has suggested memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Coffeyville, Kansas. Contributions can be left with Potts Chapel in Caney.
