Kenny George

Kenny E. George, 64, of Cherryvale, KS passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Independence. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale. Kenny Eugene George was born July 10, 1946 at Cherryvale, Kansas the son of Glenn George and Edith Blecha George. He grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1964. He worked for many years as a custom cabinet maker. Most recently 10 years with Vision Woodworks of Cherryvale and was forced to retire due to ill health. Kenny was a member of the Cherryvale Elks Lodge and Cherryvale Eagles Lodge. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Sue Luscombe of Huntsville, Texas, Angela Marie George of Parsons, Kansas, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
