Kathleen Mills

Kathleen Marie Mills passed away on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at the Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. A Graveside service will take place Monday, November 2nd, 2020 at the Mount Hope Cemetery at 10:00am. Visitation will be Sunday, November 1st at Potts Chapel, the family will greet friends and family 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Kathleen was born on July 3, 1956 in Yates Center, Kansas. She was the daughter of Edward Sr. and Opal Boring. On February 14th, 1978 she married the love of her life Ronald Mills in Independence, Kansas. Together they raised five children.

Kathleen worked for as a CNA, EMT and a Phlebotomist throughout her life. She worked for Mercy Hospital for 12 years before her retirement. She enjoyed crafts, painting and being outdoors. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, who called her “NaNa”. She also loved anything to do with frogs and had a grand collection.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronnie, granddaughter Katelyn St. Clair, and sisters: Sandra Vaden and Frances Dorner.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Robert Frazier, Beverly (Kevin) Thorpe, Stephen Mills, Stephanie Mills and Melissa Mills, grandchildren: Bryson Frazier, Dalton and Kayley Thorpe, Marcus and Laura Johnson, Skyler and Ryan St. Clair, and Ayden (Eytcheson) St. Clair, and brother Ed Boring.
