Kathleen Crouch

Kathleen S. (Bruington) Crouch (Kathy), age 68, passed away at St. Johns in Tulsa, OK on April 19, 2017. She was born on September 7, 1948 in Independence, KS. She was born to Carl and Nadine (Biggs) Bruington, who both precede her in death. She graduated from Wayside High School in 1966 where she was Salutatorian of her class. She then attended Independence Community College where she received her associates degree. She married Bill Crouch on July 17, 1970. He survives her in the home. She has 6 children Kenneth Coatney, Athena Goodman, Robert Crouch, Shannon Bryant, Dawn burr, and Travis Crouch. She worked for SKIL Resource Center for 18 years advocating for individuals with disabilities. She also worked at ICC teaching computer courses. She was a member of Bolton Friends Church, but her greatest reward in life was her grandchildren. Kenny Lee his wife Jessica, Keenan, Kristin, and Tyson Coatney. Sarah Ammerman and her husband James. Kelsey, and Jessie Goodman. Alex Crouch, Jacob and Nicholas Burr. Zachary his wife Emily, Brianna, and Kieara Bryant. Talya, Cade, and Darielle (who precedes her in death) Crouch. One brother, Russell Bruington, three sisters, Kay Willard, Carol McKellips, and Toni Bruington, also survive her. Her sister Carla Coda precedes her in death. She has 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Bolton Friends Church, Camp Quaker Haven through Bolton Friends Church, and SKIL Resource Center.
