Judy Ballew

Judy Ann Ballew, 57, of Cherryvale, Ks. passed away Monday, December 14th 2015 at Coffeyville Regional Hospital in Coffeyville Ks.
A celebration of life will take place Monday, December 21st at 10:00am at Potts Chapel in Independence Ks with graveside services to follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Independence Ks.
Judy Ann Ballew was born May 4th 1958 in Independence Ks the daughter of Jesse F and Beatrice (Perez) Ortega, she attended and graduated from Independence High School, on July 4th 2001 Judy was united in marriage to Steve Dale Ballew in Independence Ks. and they made their home in Cherryvale Ks.
Judy was employed at Class LTD in Independence and Coffeyville where she was a Health Care giver with Class LTD. She loved her job and loved working with people and friends and most of all she loved spending time with her loving family and was a loving wife to her husband Steve, Judy also loved crafts of all kinds and puzzle books
Judy is survived by her husband of the home, one son Shane Ballew and his soul mate Beth Linnebur of Cherryvale Ks and one daughter Kristal Ballew of Coffeyville Ks, a twin brother Johnny Ortega of Mantooth Virginia, Richard Ortega and wife Audrey of Independence Ks., Steve Ortega and wife Claudia of Topeka Ks. and David Ortega and wife Gail of Topeka Ks. Judy is survived by three step brothers and four Grand Children, Landen, Avery, Sarah, and Ryatt; the loves of her life and several nephews and nieces.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents and a step mother Evera Ortega and a step sister Marsha Humphreys.
