Judith Judy Leann Stevens, age 71, of Havana, Kansas died July 1, 2012 at her home in Havana, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas with the Reverend Gary Stevens of the Amazing Grace Chapel officiating. Burial will follow in the Havana Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Judy was born August 29, 1940 in Caney, Kansas to Paul E. and Beatrice Oyler Russell. Judy grew up in rural Caney, Kansas and graduated from the Wayside High School. On September 26, 1958 Judy married Robert Bob L. Stevens in Salina, Kansas. The couple lived in Coffeyville and Wayside, Kansas before making there home in Havana, Kansas. Judy worked at Love Rentals for 18 years and then 17 years at the Caney Antique Mall retiring in 2007. She was a member of the Caney Bowling Team, Study Club, Havana City Council and the Havana 4H. Survivors include her husband Bob of the home one daughter Lori Jay of Independence, Kansas two sons Tony and wife CeCe Stevens of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Michael Stevens of Caney, Kansas six grandchildren Joe Mayo, Amanda Jay, Josh Mayo, Clint Jay, Dylan Stevens and Emma Stevens ten great grandchildren Brianna Mayo, Dawn Marie Mayo, Anthony Mayo, Ashley Mayo, Timmy Mayo, Elizabeth Mayo, Avery Jay, Aiden Rogers, Malachi Jay and Madyson Jay.
