JOYCE LINDA CHRISTINE MITCHELL Joyce Mitchell, 62, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Thursday morning at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Cremation has taken place with Celebration of Life Services being held 2:00p.m., Monday, February 20, 2012 at Potts Chapel of Cherryvale. Friends may register Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 12Noon until 5:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 3:00p.m. until 4:00p.m. at Potts Chapel of Cherryvale. Memorial remembrances are suggested to American Diabetes Association and they may be left at Potts Chapel of Cherryvale. Joyce Linda Christine Mitchell was born June 15, 1949 at home in Cherryvale the daughter of James Ballew and Katherine Miller Ballew. She grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from Cherryvale High School. On October 4, 1969 at Parsons, Kansas she was united in marriage to Charles Mitchell and he survives at the home in Cherryvale. Joyce was a homemaker and lived in the Cherryvale most of her life. Survivors include Charles of the home, one brother, James R, Ballew of Independence, Kansas, one sister, Betty Kelley of Cherryvale, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
