Joyce Anne Gilliland

JOYCE ANNE GILLILAND, 84, of Ladson, SC, passed away on March 26th, 2024. Joyce was born on September 19, 1939 to Omar Earl Jackson Jr. and Marjorie Elaine Winters in Baldwin City, KS. She graduated from Rosalia High School in 1957. Joyce Gilliland and Freddie Hugh Gilliland wed in 1956 and through the years had six children. Joyce and Freddie lived in many places throughout Freddie’s career in the Navy. 

Joyce A Gilliland was preceded in death by her husband, her mother, her father, one grandson, and two brothers. She is survived by her six children, Debra Friend (Bob), Sherri Gilliland, Tamela Collins (Charlie), Virginia Whitty (Alan), David Gilliland (Debbie), and Franklin Gilliland (Dawn), one brother, Larry Jackson (Judy), 18 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
