Jonathan Couch

Jonathan E. Couch, 26, of Liberty, Kansas died Sunday February 3, 2013 from an auto accident. A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a, m. Thursday, February 7th, 2013 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Independence, Kansas with the Reverend Roland Vega officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Jaedyn Couch Memorial Fund or the Zion Lutheran School and contributions may be left at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Jonathan was born November 15, 1986 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Marcus and Susan Shook Couch. He grew up in Liberty, Kansas and graduated from the Independence High School. On September 10, 2007 Jonathan entered the United States Marine Corp. and served until his honorable discharge on September 9, 2011. On April 15, 2009 Jonathan married Rebecca Curl in Arkansas. Jonathan worked as Security for Andrews International Security and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post 139. Survivors include wife Rebecca Couch of Vinita, Oklahoma one daughter Jaedyn Elisabeth Couch of Vinita, Oklahoma his parents Marcus and Susan Couch of Liberty, Kansas two brothers twin William Couch of Liberty, Kansas and Daniel Couch of Shawnee, Kansas one half sister NaCole Dawn Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
