Jolene (Jody) Kay (Beam) Smith 55, of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away Saturday, May 20th 2017 at Jane Phillips Medical Center, in Bartlesville OK. Cremation has taken place by the request of the family at Potts Chapel in Independence KS. No services are planned.
Jolene Kay Beam was born July 4th, 1961 in Richmond, Indiana. The daughter of Howard and Ruth (Wood) Jones. She attended school in Richmond, Indiana. Jolene lived in Tucson, Arizona before moving to Coffeyville Kansas 30 years ago. On May 8, 2010, she met Raymond Eugene Smith and has been his loving wife for 17 years.
Jolene (Jody), loved camping and fishing, and loved being in the great outdoors. Jody loved cooking and loved to play Candy Crush on her computer. Most of all she loved spending time with her loving family and grandchildren.
Jody is survived by her husband, Raymond, of the home and three daughters; Melody Beard and husband Michael of Coffeyville KS, Lisa Long of Independence KS, and Raechelle Best of Independence KS, two sons; Joshua Reffitt of Florida, and Bradley Reffitt of Ohio, three brothers; Kenny Jones, Bobby Jones, and David Jones of Richmond, Indiana, and sisters Linda Powell of Kentucky, Sandy Reece of Indiana, Jackie Varvel, Kathy Jones, and Brenda Moore, all of Richmond Indiana, Debbie Wright of Indiana and 19 grandchildren and 1 Great grand child
