John Vance

John Wesley Vance, 64, of Independence, Kansas died Saturday June 1, 2013 at his home. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. On Thursday June 13, 2013 at the Potts Chapel Independence, Kansas with the Reverend Keith Copithke Officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Independence, Kansas. John was born in Mound Valley, Kansas the son of Noan F. and Georgia Ross Vance. He grew up in Mound Valley and attended the Mound Valley School System. John was united in marriage to Constance Vance and she survives in Hebron, Nebraska. John work as a sales associate for the Toby Cargile Auto Sales in Independence, Kansas. Survivors include the wife Constance Vance of Hebron, Nebraska, step son John Post of NE., one son Michael Vance of Topeka, Ks., two daughters Kimri Vance of Caney, Ks., Lorie Vance of Elk City, Kansas one brother Noah Vance Jr. of DelCity, Ok., sister Bess Clark of Independence, Kansas
