Jerry Featherston

Jerry Featherston, 45, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at his home. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 5, 2013 at the United Methodist Church of Cherryvale, Kansas with Reverend Susan Brown officiating. The family has suggested memorials to the United Methodist Church of Cherryvale, Kansas and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel of Cherryvale. Jerry was born December 25, 1967 in Independence, Kansas, the son of Ralph and Norma Sader Featherston. He grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from the Cherryvale School System. Jerry married Veronica and made their home in Cherryvale Kansas. He worked as a service technician for ValNet. Survivors include one daughter, JuLee Burlington of Independence one step son, Aaron Michael Price of Independence two stepdaughters, Shanina Wilson and Selene Wilson of Independence two brothers, David Featherston of Houston Texas and Danny Featherston of Saginaw Michigan, and one sister, Connie Lipics of Brownsville Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Norma Featherston.
