Janice Prosser

Janice E. Prosser, age 60, of Independence, Kansas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Regal Estate in Independence where she resided. Janice fought a courageous battle of illness through out her life. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Interment will follow at the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Friends may also sign the online register book at www.pottsfuneralhome.com. Janice was born June 15, 1951 in Augusta, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Agnes Prosser. She is survived by three brothers, Harold Prosser of Ferndale, Washington, Howard Prosser of Independence, Kansas and James Prosser of Parsons, Kansas two sisters, Dorothy Scholfield of Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania and Marjorie Barrager of Independence, Kansas. She will be greatly missed by her family and community.
