James Niver

JAMES ADRIAN NIVER James Adrian Niver, age 68, of Independence, Kansas died Friday July 24, 2009 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. James was born December 25, 1940 in Constantine, Michigan to Adrian C. and Beatrice Bowers Niver. He grew up in Michigan and attended schools in Edwardsburg, Michigan. James served in the Vietnam War from 1965-1966. He married Glenda VanVoorhis and she survives of the home. James worked as a mechanic for Independence USD 446, Fredonia Transit and for Taylor Crane and Rigging. He was a member of the VFW. Survivors include two sons, James Jr. of Edna, Kansas, DeWayne of Cherryvale, Kansas; and one daughter Dawn Wolf of Cherryvale, Kansas; four grandchildren and one step grandchild.
