James Dugan

James Jim John Dugan, 91 of Independence, Kansas passed away Monday February 24, 2014 at Mercy Hospital.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Independence and Inurnment will be held in Topeka, Kansas at a later date and the date will be announced later.
The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Association and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence. Kansas.
Jim was born November 6, 1922 in Parson, Kansas the son of Elija and Margaret White Stover. He grew up in Parson and attended the Parson School System.
Jim was united in marriage to Donna Jean Berry and the couple was married for 59 years. Donna preceded Jim in death in 2011.
Jim worked as a Mason and was self employed. He also served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include five daughters and four sons. He also has 24 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
