Inez Ward

Inez F. Ward, age 82 of Independence, Kansas died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Regal Estates in Independence, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Regal Estates and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Inez was born September 17, 1929 in Rhodhiss, North Carolina. She grew up in Rhodhiss, North Carolina and attended schools there. On December 14, 1961 Inez married Carl Ward in Fort Wayne, Indiana and the couple made their home in Ohio. In 1976 the couple moved to Independence, Kansas. Inez worked for ACC until her retirement in 1995. Survivors include her husband Carl of the home one daughter Trudy L. Laney of North Carolina step son Carl Ward of Pasco, Washington 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
