Helen House

Helen Rose House entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the age of 95. Helen was born September 22, 1915 at Zenda, Kansas. She was the daughter of Pete and Anna Weingardt Henning. Helen married Charles W. Nirschl on August 5, 1936 at Willowdale, KS he preceded her in death on August 28, 1957. She married Richard P. House on April 18, 1958 at Parsons KS he preceded her in death on December 10, 2001. Helen is survived by seven daughters and two sons. Shirley Born, Liberty, MO Betty Nirschl, Winfield, KS Mary Jane Myers and husband Lyle, Baxter Springs, KS Joyce Bennett and husband Kenneth, Cherryvale, KS Judith Shaver and husband Jimbo, Cleveland, NC Robert Nirschl and wife Sally, Norman, OK Vicki Bailey and husband Randy, OFallon, MO and Debbie Wright and friend Mark, Blue Springs, MO Jerry Nirschl and wife Nita, Parsons, Kansas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren, and 1 greatgreatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, a son, Theodore Nirschl, a granddaughter Diane Born, and a grandson Matthew Cruse. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Andrews Catholic Church in Independence, Kansas on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside services will follow at the St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery in Walnut, KS under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas.
