Donald Don Graham, 93, of Caney, KS
passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014,
at his home. Graveside celebration of life
services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday,
February 17, 2014, at Sunnyside Cemetery,
Caney, with Harry Hynes Hospice Chaplain
Mike Graham officiating, Visitation will be
held Saturday, February 15th, 8:00am to 4:00,
at Potts Chapel Caney, with family
receiving friends and guests between 2:00 to
4:00.

Donald Irvin Graham was born September 26, 1920, in Foraker, Oklahoma, the third of four children to Samuel Alexander Graham Sr and Edna Goldie Griffith Graham.

Donald grew up in Foraker and attended schools there. On May 24, 1942, Donald married Verlie A. Kitterman. To this union was born their son, Gary, who died in 1974. Donald was inducted into the Army in 1945, received training as Construction Equipment Serviceman, and was discharged in 1946.

Don was retired from the City of Caney, having served for over 20plus years as the Water Superintendent. Don loved to go fishing, camping, and his gardening. Don was a member of the Coffeyville Chapter of the VFW, Caney American Legion, Kana Cliners, and was baptized at the Tyro Christian Church.

Don is survived by his wife, Verlie, of the home grandson Wayne and wife Beth of Tyro, Kansas, and granddaughter Kim and husband Joe Wright of Tyro seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents son Gary his siblings Elzie, Samuel, and Neola Mae Crabtree and one great grandchild Gary Wayne Graham in 1990.

The family has suggested memorials to Alzheimers Association, and contribution can be left with Potts Chapel Caney.
