Grace Vance

Grace Ilene Vance passed away on February 24, 2019 in Neodesha, Kansas. Cremation has taken place with Potts Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at Potts Chapel at 10:00am. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and can be left with the funeral home.
Grace Ilene Vance was born May 15, 1936. She was the daughter of Frank and Maude (Lawson) Mundy. She graduated from Independence High School. On September 19, 1953 she married Jackie Vance at the Chapel of Praise Church. Jackie passed away on October 17, 2010. Together they had one son, Mark Vance and one daughter Brenda Vannoster. Ilene had worked as a Tupperware dealer, Automotive Controls, Montgomery County Court House, Union Gas, and Mid-American Federal Savings and Loans
Ilene enjoyed arts and crafts, decorating her house for the holidays, plants and creating personalized Christmas ornaments. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Soriety.
Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband Jackie, daughter Brenda, sisters; Jackie Vineyard and Viola Gillman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Mark, brother Gary Mundy and sister Karen Wolf, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
