GLENN CLYDE STICE Glenn Clyde Stice, 81, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Thursday October 15, 2009 at his home. Glenn was born December 29, 1927, to Clyde C. and Pansy Bean Stice in Rosedale, Kansas where he attended the Rosedale School System. Glenn served in the merchant marines from 1942 to 1945. On July 29, 1950 he married H. Frances Bradshaw at her parents home near Parsons, KS. In 1951 he joined the U.S. Army and served until 1953. Glenn worked for KGE as a truck driver. He worked in the Kansas City area for 10 years building power plants. He also worked for Greg's Cabinet Shop. Glen was a self-employed carpenter with son Darrell before retiring in 1990. Cremation has taken place and the family is planning a private interment at a later date. Survivors include his wife of the home, 2 sons; Ray and Janie Stice, of Cherryvale, KS; Darrell Pam Stice of Cherrryvale, KS; 1 daughter Gloria Gray of Independence, KS and Daughter-in-law Dot Stice of Tulsa, OK. One sister Hazel Leach of Peoria, AZ; 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 3 sisters, and one son Gary Stice.
