Glenn Harlan

February 8, 1929 — October 28, 2015

Glenn L. Harlan, 86, of Independence passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Wilson Medical Center, Neodesha, Kansas.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p. m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Potts Chapel, Independence with Pastor Dick Drumeller officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
Glenn was born February 8, 1929 in Rural Montgomery County the sun of Purl and Erma (Burns) Harlan. He grew up in Jefferson and graduated from the Jefferson school system.
Glenn was united in marriage to Lola Lea Burket and she preceded him in death.
On April 27, 2013 Glenn was united in marriage to Erma Coen Stroble and the couple made their home in Independence. Erma survives at the home.
Glenn worked for the Boeing and Cessna Air Craft companies in the electrical department. He later worked as a driver for Four County Mental.
Survivors include Erma his wife of the home, two sons Dennis R. Harlan of Hazelgreen, AL., Glenn Harlan Jr. of Tampa Bay, FL., one brother Clint Harlan of Bellplains, KS., one sister Clair Donaldson of Leander, TX, and four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
