Gerald Krause

Gerald Dean Krause, age 90, of Independence, Kansas died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at his home in Independence, Kansas. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Gerald was born September 28, 1920 in Waverly, Kansas to Albert Theodore and Floy Marie Hollett Krause. He grew up and attended schools in Waverly, Kansas. On September 25, 1945 Gerald married Nadine Marie Cromwell. Gerald worked in Manufacturing all of life, working in California, Idaho, South Dakota and retiring in Oregon. In 2000 the couple moved to Independence, Kansas to be near family. Survivors include his wife Nadine of the home one son Victor Lawrence Krause of Dayton, Oregon three daughters Patricia LaVonn Krause Kimberlin, Kathleen Marie Krause Smith of Payette, Idaho, and Cheryl Ann Krause Reyes of Enid, Oklahoma one brother Dale Krause of Boston, Massachusetts 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
