George Wade

George Bob Robert Wade, age 62, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale, Kansas with the Reverend Steve Butler of the Community Christian Church officiating. Friends may sign the register book from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Shriners Childrens Hospital and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. George Bob Robert Wade was born March 7, 1947 in Independence, Kansas to Bill and Margie Edwards Wade. He grew up in Caruther, California and graduated from the Caruther, California School System. Bob moved to Cherryvale, Kansas in 1971. He owned and operated Wade Bail Bonds, in Independence, and Cherryvale, Kansas. On November 23, 1998 Bob married Julie Marie Mansfield in Miami, Oklahoma. He was a Mason and a member of the Kansas Bail Agents. Survivors include his wife Julie of the home, his mother Margie of Independence, Kansas; one son Rob OConnell of Independence, Kansas and two grandchildren.
