Garryl David Dunham, 58, Independence, KS passed away, On Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church 200 South Penn Avenue Independence, KS with Tony Fowler and Reverend Bill Booe of the Sycamore United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Havana Cemetery in Havana, KS Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m., 8:00 p.m., with the family receiving visitors from 6:00 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Potts Chapel of Independence. Garryl was born in Independence, KS on December 9, 1954 to George Bruce and Leah Virginia Payne Dunham. He attended Independence schools and graduated from Independence High School in 1972. Following graduation he worked for several different companies as a pipe fitter and equipment operator. On February 22, 1986 he married Connie A. Dunham in Elk City, KS the couple made their home in Independence, KS. Garryl was preceded in death by his father, a brother Bruce Layne, a sister Mary Jean and his wife Connie. Survivors include three daughters, Christine Marie Dye, Claremore, OK, Jennifer Dawn Reichenberger, Elk City, KS, Leah Frances Oldenettel, Fort Smith, AR.,his mother Leah Virginia Payne Dunham. Siblings,Glynn Dunham, Robert Dunham, both of Independence, KS., Monte Dunham, of Neodesha, KS a sister, Patty Vannoster, Independence, KS and five grandchildren.
