Emma Elliott

Emma Lucille Elliott, age 92, of Surprise, Arizona died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Sunset Adult Family Home in Surprise, Arizona.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas.

Emma Lucille Elliott was born May 14, 1921 in Thayer, Kansas to Charles B. and Emma B. Sleeper Adams. She grew up in Cherryvale, Kansas and graduated from the Cherryvale High School. Emma also graduated from the Independence Business College.

On August 10, 1942 Emma married James Charles Elliott in Wichita, Kansas. James preceded her in death on April 15, 1988. Emma was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son Charles M. Elliott of Surprise, Arizona 2 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
