Ellen Kettleman

Ellen Kettleman, age 83, of Independence, Kansas died Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Wilson County Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas with the Pastor Larry Kaiser officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Cherryvale Nursing Rehab Center in Cherryvale, Kansas and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Ellen was born November 20, 1927 in Independence, Kansas to Moncie V. and Lucy Hopkins Kettleman. Ellen worked at the Independence Laundry from 1943 until it closed. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include one brother Moncie V. Kettleman Jr. of Springdale, Arkansas and one sister Naomi Ruth Fender of Yuma, Arizona.
