Elizabeth Ann Holeman, age 69, of Caney, Kansas died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her home in Caney, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas with the Reverend David Sherlock officiating. Casket will be closed. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Elizabeth Ann Holeman was born January 20, 1942 in Havana, Kansas to Ervin J. and Gladys M. Ross Berry. She grew up in Havana, Kansas and attended schools in Havana, Kansas. On December 2, 1960 Elizabeth married Norman Holeman, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Norman preceded her in death. Elizabeth worked at the Box Factory, and was a dishwasher at the Red Maple Restaurant in Caney, Kansas for over 20 years. Elizabeth attended the Assembly of God Church in Caney, Kansas. Survivors include one son Richard C. Berry of Caney, Kansas two daughters Linda L. Beard of Fredonia, Kansas and Julie A. Russell of Independence, Kansas one sister Margaret Snider of Holbrook, Arizona four grandchildren Andrea Russell, Tony Russell, Wesley Beard, and Bobby Beard. She was preceded in death by one daughter Teresa Jo Holeman and one brother William Berry.
