Earline Marie Outland,82, of Jackson, California passed away peacefully at the Jackson Gardens Elder Care Home, in Jackson, California, Monday July 23, 2012 after a long illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday August 6, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caney, Kansas with Father Sixtus Ye Myint officiating . Burial will follow at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Caney, Kansas. Reciting of the Rosary will be Sunday August 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caney. In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial for Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorders Association. Earline was born on January 28, 1930, in Caney, Kansas. She graduated from Caney High School in 1947, and the Coffeyville Community College, in 1949. Following College, Earline spent 35 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, including as Office Manager for the Sacramento, California FBI office before retiring. In 1944, she met her future husband , Ronald Outland, on a vacation train trip across Canada. The couple were married in 1996, and they enjoyed nearly 15 wonderful years of marriage until Rons death in 2010. Earline loved to travel, and she and Ron embarked on many adventures around the country and the globe. She also loved to squaredance, and socialize with her many friends at Sun City, Roseville. Earline is survived by her brothers Cecil and Raymond Charles and sisterinlaw Jan Charles of Canyon Tx., sisterinlaw Dorothy Charles of Altamont, Ks., stepsons Mark and Lance Outland of Pine Grove, Ca., and stepgrandchildren Aaron, Ohi, Luke, Lydia and Beverley Outland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings Jules, Carl, Earl and Jean Charles.
