Dustin Berberick

Dustin Wade Berberick of Dewey, OK, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2021 at the young age of 33 in Bartlesville, OK.

Dustin was born in Jacksonville, AR on October 30, 1987 to Doug Berberick and Donna Shirley. He graduated from Independence High School in 2006 and then continued on to United States Army Basic Training at Fort Sill in Lawton, OK.

Dustin worked in the construction business most of his adult life, along with some electrician work. He worked for HadcoServices, LLC of Bartlesville, OK at the time of his death. Dustin enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, working on vehicles, hunting, fishing, and watching football. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Dustin is survived by his parents, Douglas Berberick and Donna Shirley; his sisters, Darla Berberick and Davonna Shirley; his brother, David Shirley; and his niece, AnnaBelle Holland. He is predeceased by his grandparents, John and Mary Kay Berberick and Wanda Latta.

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 5:00-7:00pm at Potts Funeral Home in Independence, KS. The burial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Independence, KS on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00pm. Hayden Charles of St. Patrick Catholic Church will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Potts Funeral Home.
