Donna J. Wulf

Donna J. Wulf, 82, Passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, in Independence, Kansas. Private family graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas. 

Donna was born September 21, 1942, in Coffeyville, Kansas to George Grant and Goldie Ora (Burris) Powell. She attended and graduated from Field Kinley High School in Coffeyville, Kansas. Following her education, she married Wilbur D. Wulf in 1962. The couple moved to Pittsburg, Kansas where Donna attended beauty school. Later the couple moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where Donna opened Donna’s Beauty Salon and operated it for several years until she merged with L.A. Hair Designs where she was employed until her retirement. After her retirement Donna moved to Grove, Oklahoma. During her time in Grove, Donna was employed at Wal-Mart until her health began to decline. At that time, she moved to Sedan, Kansas and later to Independence, Kansas. 

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jack and Dean Powell. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Allen (Trina) Wulf, Independence, Kansas; Greg Wulf, South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Joshua Wulf, Independence, Kansas; Lauren Wulf, Chicago, Illinois, Alyssa Murphy, Oswego, Kansas; Christina Wulf, Sedan, Kansas; and five great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Wulf, Coleman Myers, Rayden Myers, Axton Myers, and Harlynn Myers.
