Donald Hodges

Donald Gene Hodges, age 72, of Independence, Kansas died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his home in Independence, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Graveside Services will take place at a later date.

Don was born October 13, 1941 in Havana, Kansas to Delmar and Cora Cummin Hodges. He grew up in Havana, Kansas and graduated from the Havana High School. Don worked for FunksJohn Deere in Coffeyville, Kansas for over 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a motorhead.

Survivors include son Brad Hodges, daughters Sonya Sullivan and Tammy Hodges step son Justin Hodges one sister Darlene Hodges three brothers, Delmar B. Hodges II, Dennis Hodges, and Roy Hodeges three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded parents and one sister Leila Hodges.
