Dianne Nunez,59, of Cherryvale, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Wesley Hospital, in Wichita, Kansas. We will be honoring her life at 11:OO a m on Saturday December 1, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Cherryvale with Pastor Jeff McCullough and Peter Levinison officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Cherryvale. Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church, Cherryvale, Friday November 30, 2012 from 1:00 p m to 7:00 p m with the family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm . The family has suggested memorials to the Dianne Nunez memorial fund and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas. Dianne was born on February 17, 1953 in San Diego, California the daughter of Marvin and Joyce Blake Long. She grew up in Anaheim , California and graduated from the Buena Park School System. Dianne also attended Independence Community College. Dianne had been a safety Administrator at Amazon for the last ten years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cherryvale. Survivors include her parents Marvin and Joyce Long of Cherryvale, Ks., her son and family Jason Niemier, Melissa, Cooper, and Carson of Cherryvale, Ks., her daughter, Amanda NunezHughes and family Zachary Hughes of Joplin, Mo., sisterinlaw Vi Long, nephew Jonathon Long of Cherryvale, Ks., niece Katy longKnight and family Crispy Knight of Tulsa, Okla., and exhusband Harry Howard of Baxter Spring, Ks., Dianne was preceded in death by three husbands, Kim Niemier, Sam Nunez and Jim Grisby, her brother, John Long, her son Rusty Howard, four grandchildren, Harley Jaycee and Hayze C. Howard, Gryphon and Greenleigh Hughes and two stepchildren Carolyn and Alexis Grigsby. Dianne instilled love and happiness in each and every one of her family, friends, and coworkers. She will always continue to be with us.
