Debra Allen

Debra E. Allen, 51, of Mound Valley, Kansas passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Labette Health Care Center in Parsons, Kansas. Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 19,2012 at Mound Valley Christian Church with Pastor Brett Rousselle and pastor Ray Witty, officiating. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel with private inurnment held at a later date. Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Debra Allen Memorial Fund and may be left at Potts Chapel. Debra Earline Allen was born April 18, 1960 at Neodesha, Kansas the daughter of Henry Lee Allen and Elizabeth Bennett Allen. Her father died when she was less than one year old and was raised by her mother and step father Junior King. She grew up and lived in the area most of her life attending schools in Coffeyville, Kansas, Wann, Oklahoma, Caney, Kansas, Edna, Kansas, Welch, Oklahoma and Lenapah, Oklahoma. Survivors include, mother and step father, Elizabeth and Junior King of Lenapah, Oklahoma one son, Larry Dewayne Voris of Coffeyville, Kansas one daughter, Ellen Voris Boyle of Mound Valley, Kansas two brothers, Mike Allen of Chanute, Kansas, Phil Allen of Edna, Kansas three sisters, Sheryl Allen of Coffeyville, Kansas, Cindy Kimrey of Lenapah, Oklahoma, Connie Smith of Parsons, Kansas and 5 grandchildren.
