David Ward

David Franklin Ward, age 43 of Havana, Kansas died Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Harrisonville Cemetery with the Pastor Mike Morris officiating. The family has suggested memorials to the Cancer Walk or to the Donor's Choice. David was born October 12, 1965 in El Dorado Springs, Mo to Walter Franklin and Mary Ellen Emmons Ward.He grew up in Wayside, ks and attended schools in Caney, Kansas. David worked for different foundries, in the oil fields and for the city of Caney. He was a member of the American Legion Riders and the American Legion. He loved hunting, fishing and his family. Survivors include his mother Mary Ellen Ward, of Havana, Ks; two brothers James Edward and wife Traci Ward of Caney, Kansas and Bobby Joe and wife Amanda Ward of Caney, Kansas; two sisters Connie Sue Ward of Peru, Kansas and Linda Lou and Noner Ward of Peru, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.
