David Meyer

David "Dave" Rodney Meyer, born Nov. 25, 1946 in Independence, Kansas passed away on Friday February 21, 2020 after a battle with cancer.

Dave was a long-time resident of Titusville and Mims area and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3581, the Loyal Order of Moose among others. His life was split between Alaska, Kansas and Florida. He loved to travel the open road and drive cross country between states. He was a Ford man and loved cars, restoring several during his lifetime. Dave is best remembered as a man with a big heart, who loved his family and friends deeply. Friends and family will always remember all the good times had with Dave.

He is loved and survived by his brother and wife Steven and Terri Meyer and their daughters Melissa, Erin, and Andrea, and son Andrew. Also, by his son and wife, Ryan and Najla Meyer and his two grandchildren Emma and Trevor Meyer.

Funeral services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, KS at 10:00 am Saturday, April 24th. Dave will be laid to rest next to his mother and father, Bettie and Walter Meyer. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
