David Earl Eytcheson

David Earl Eytcheson passed away on April 15, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. David found joy in life's simple, meaningful moments. A devoted family man, he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. His home was always open. There was a place for anyone who walked through his door.

David enjoyed Saturday night races, visits to the casino, and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting / life events. David especially enjoyed his wife's cooking and baking. He also valued his daily morning phone calls or visits to just see how everyone was doing. It was a routine that showed just how much he valued staying connected with loved ones.

David will be remembered for his love of family,  his steady presence, and the special way he showed that he wanted those around him to prosper in life

A visitation will be held Wednesday April 22. 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. A Memorial service will be held Thursday April 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the family and can be left at the funeral home.
